When I picked Lil M up from school yesterday the teacher was super excited....
Lil M had walked a few steps a few times at school!!! It was great to hear and I was super excited, but then as I was driving home, I started to get weepy.... I feel like I miss so much of Lil M's life while he's at school!! I hate that I have to work and I wish I could be with him all day long.. granted he'd be super bored and wouldn't be doing all the amazing things that he is while at school... but I feel like I miss out in so much!!
But on a happy note.. Lil M is on his way towards walking! He can stand by himself, start to wobble and then takes a few steps!!
I am so proud of him!!!!

I don't know if this will make you feel better or not, but I do think my son is often bored staying home with me all day. I think when I do go back to work & he's around other kids more often he'll be happier.

DeleteYay yay for his big milestone! I so understand how you feel because yesterday I saw for the first time that Kaci can roll around everywhere. she can change angle where she is facing, she was by my side one minute and the other side of the playground the next minute. Cja is catching up too. All that, Mom had told me but I had never witnessed. So I was shocked to know that Im missing out so much being working mom. But i think we are all doing fab job as mommy! just not possible to be by their side 24/7. Soon lil M will tell you everything he does so you won't miss out anything! ;-)

How exciting! Our little miss took her first steps on Valentine's day. She still isn't walking, but every couple days she'll do a few more steps for us. It's so dang cute!
