Saturday was the SF Giants Fan Fest Day where they opened up the ballpark and all the parking lots to anyone who wanted to come check out the field, roam freely in the ballpark, and want to hear the players talk :)
Lil M had so much fun, he got to sit in one of the chairs (Row 27 of a really good section) and eat his pretzel, drink his milk, and talk to the passerbys. He wore his baseball hat and was sitting there kicking his feet, having a grand ole time.
We walked around the top tier of the park, where we found the children's field :) Lil M was able to hit his first baseball and "walk" the bases. They were nice and had a tee set up, I helped him stand and hold the HUGE pink bad.. and SWING!! the ball went pretty far :) He's a natural :) My sister took some amazing shots, too bad my computer won't recognize her camera :( stupid computer!! so I will get pics up soon
Plum Organics was at the ballpark, and they were handing out pouches and yogurt drops :) MM MM good! Lil M got a huge handful of packs to save for later :) We also got a baseball from some Solar company :) and an orange backpack!
The line was SUPER LONG to get down into the field :( So we decided to skip it! (Later I read that over 40,000 people were at the ballpark.. CRAZY!!)
So instead, I bought a Ghiradhelli hot fudge sundae for Lil M to share with his Aunty Chee and Po-Po :) He enjoyed himself, and I swear he ended up eating more than half of the sundae :)
We ended the day at the park by stopping by the store, and of course I had to get him some Giants gear for the upcoming season :) So I bought him his first SF giants baseball hat! His Po-Po splurged and bought him a Giants shirt :) EEK he's ready for the season :)
Got home late, ended up ordering some yummy chinese food for the chinese new year and had a relaxing dinner! Aunty Chee surprised us all with some yummy Baskin Robbins ice cream.. let's just say Lil M couldn't get enough!!
What a great Saturday :) I am so excited to watch Lil M get excited over more "grown" up stuff! Yeah I'm sad that he's growing up so fast, but at least he is enjoying things more and more!!
Soon he will be running the bases and hitting the ball without the tee.. OH MY!!

Aweeee I remember when we took my * baby* ( now 16) to his first visit to Wrigley Field and he ran the bases. * sigh* they grow up so fast. Can't wait to see pictures of your little man in his baseball gear.
