I saw this on pinterest this morning and totally thought about DH and myself. Our relationship has been a little rocky lately, due to our crazy schedules and of course some drama from his evil mother.
We are trying to get through the rough patch.. it is just so tough these days. There is nothing listed in any of the baby books about preparing to keep your romance and your relationship with your husband alive. I mean with the lack of sleep, 2 of us working, and of course making sure we stick to Lil M's schedule, there isn't much room for any extras. We are just very fortunate that we have my mom and sister living close by to help out and babysit when we want a date night, or to come over and help out watching Lil M so we can get some chores. It is nice that we have those 2 that we can trust to be here for us and to take care of Lil M like we do :) My mom, sister and brother are the only ones we can trust to watch Lil M.... no one else is capable :( I mean we have friends.. but it's not the same, and it is so hard to ask a friend to babysit.
But THANKFULLY we have my mom and sister :)
So hopefully soon the balancing act of wife and working mother will be easier.
Until then, I will continue to live off of a few hours of sleep and always planning for tomorrow
